On this 8-day safari, you will visit Tarangire whereby you will have an opportunity to see what the parkhas to offer starting from the giant baobab trees to the huge number of largest African Elephants inside Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro crater which is a UNESCO world heritage site and the best place to witness the endangered black rhino and Serengeti National Park which has the greatest concentration of wildlife as well as the great migration which is the major highlight for this tour whereby you will visit the west Serengeti and spend 2 nights following the great migration and Grumeti river crossing. Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro or Arusha) you will be met by Nasikia Safaris’ representative and drive you to your accommodation in Arusha for overnight stay waiting for your adventures to start on the following day.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Early morning after breakfast at your accommodation in Arusha, you will be picked up by your private driver guide and take you straight to Tarangire National Park which takes approximately 2 hours. Tarangire National Park is one of the largest parks of Tanzania that covers an area of 2,600 square kilometres. Tarangire National Park is most popular for its large elephant herds and giant baobab trees. It also has a mini-wildlife migration that takes place during the dry season which consists of about 250,000 animals enter the park. More than 300-strong herds of elephant, visitors will find big groups of buffalo and healthy populations of lions and leopards. During the dry season, Tarangire has the highest concentration of mammals in the country. There are wild dogs and rare antelopes such as gerenuk, plus more than 550 species of birds to spot throughout the year. You will have picnic lunch boxes where you will have them inside the park in the afternoon. After lunch and further game viewing, you will drive straight to your accommodation in Karatu for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Karatu to Central Serengeti National Park

Early morning after breakfast at around 8:00am, you will drive straight to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop at a viewing pointhas a built pavilion that provides a near 180° view of the Ngorongoro crater. After that you will descend down to the crater which is 600m deep. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. It is one of the most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites in the world and an exceptional place to interact with people from the Maasai tribe.On reaching the crater’s edge, the 20 km diameter caldera opens up before you in all its stunning glory and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail. This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals in including a wide range of birds’ species, hyenas and the endangered black rhino. Hot Lunch will be served at a picnic spot at the hippo pool and after that you will drive straight to the heart of Serengeti National Park. You will have an en-route drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Western Serengeti Corridor Migration

Early morning after breakfast, we depart to Western Serengeti. Around end of April, May and June, a vast army of wildebeests along with its partners: zebras, elands and gazelles mill around the Western Corridor of the Serengeti, south of the Grumeti River. Harassed behind by lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas and ahead by giant Nile crocodiles, many hundreds perish as some hazard the river crossing while others detour it. But the beauty of the landscape, stretching without end beneath an infinite sky on a Serengeti West Safari, changes something within the watcher, who becomes more aware of the place of humankind within the drama of the animal world After Lunch and an extensive game drive, we head for our Tented partner lodges for dinner and overnight. You will spend 2 nights at Western corridor.

Western Serengeti National Park to Central Serengeti

Early morning after breakfast, you will drive straight from westernSerengeti to central Serengeti and arrive in the late afternoon at your accommodation for relaxation, dinner and overnight at your accommodation. If you choose to do a game drive at the central it is quite possible depending on your preferences.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro crater

Today you will depart early after your delicious breakfast to Ngorongoro crater with a game drive en-route. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting and the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. It is one of the most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites in the world and an exceptional place to interact with people from the Maasai tribe.On reaching the crater’s edge, the 20 km diameter caldera opens up before you in all its stunning glory and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail. This World Heritage Site is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals in including a wide range of birds’ species, hyenas and the endangered black rhino. After exploration you will ascend the crater and drive straight to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Early morning after breakfast at, you will drive straight to Lake Manyara National Park which is also known as the home of Tree Climbing Lions and birds’ paradise. More than 500 species are present in Lake Manyara, and even for a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these species in a single day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Other animals that can be found here are giraffes, Zebras, hyenas, Buffalo, Hippo, elephants and wildebeests. Lunch will be served inside the park and after further exploration of the park you will return to Arusha. Those who wish to combine this safari with a trip to Zanzibar can take a flight from the local Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport.
